Soar with the gondola Fürenalp over the step stone wall to the alpine world and mountain restaurant Fürenalp. An extraordinary panorama and a cosy restaurant welcomes at the top station of the Fuerenalp. This hike takes you past alpine meadows, springs and a slate quarry. The Engelberg monastery has mined bricks for its buildings from the slate quarry. Can you see the traces of mining? You will have a fantastic view of the monastery village of Engelberg., the golf course and mount Titlis. The nearby hydroelectric power station produces electricity for the Engelberg monastery. The path is located in front of the Hahnen, Engelbergs mythical top, since a legend says that the angels have appeared precisely on this top. At  Alp Ober Zieblen you have the possibility to walk to Horbis or via unter Zieblen to the restaurant Schweizerhaus. In both restaurants you can relax and eat a bite for the last meteres of your trip home.
