Surenenpass hike - Impressive day trip (W20)
The hike from Engelberg via Surenpass to Attinghausen is considered as one of the most impressive of central Switzerland and part of the route "Via Alpina". You will enjoy this unique view of the snow covered Titlis and the nearby mountains. On the other side of the Surenenpass a breathtaking view of lake Luzern (Urnersee) and the river valley Reuss.

- The fauna and flora of the Alps
Breath the fresh alpine air and discover the rich alpine flora. With some luke you see wildlife animals such as marmots, chamois, ibexes (mountain goats). Approach a paradise for hikers and other nature enthusiasts.
Varios alpine huts and the cheese factory are open in the alpine summer
During the summer months different alpine huts invite you for a drink and regional dishes. The hike is also part of the "Alpine cheese trail" and we can recommend a visit in the alpine cheese factory "Surenen" at Aebnet.
Information day-hike Surenenpass
The hiking time is about 5 hours if you take the cable car Engelberg - Fürenalp and Attinghausen - Brüsti. We offer a special round ticket for both cable cars. In general the Surenenpass is good for hiking from Juni to middle/end of October - depending the snow conditions. Please inform yourself before you go about the the current situation.
